U.S. Amateur Radio Bands

The FCC Part 97 rules define all authorized amateur bands in the United States. These include LF, MF, HF, VHF, UHF, SHF, and EHF allocations, with specific privileges depending on license class (Technician, General, Advanced, Amateur Extra)

US amateur radio bands span LF through microwave frequencies, including 135.7–137.8 kHz (2200 m), 472–479 kHz (630 m), HF bands from 1.8–29.7 MHz, VHF bands such as 50–54 MHz and 144–148 MHz, and UHF/SHF/EHF allocations up to 275 GHz.
