Make It Meaningful

Meaningful conversations go beyond small talk to foster deep connection, empathy, and personal growth by sharing vulnerabilities, values, and life experiences. They are characterized by active listening, curiosity, mutual respect, and a, 57% listening to 43% talking ratio. These interactions, lasting 15-30 minutes, strengthen relationships and boost emotional well-being.

This would be good to pass out at the beginning of the year to use during group discussions. I have found that middle school students have a hard time staying on track with read and discuss types of assignments. This would help make for more productive conversations.
