Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, sometimes called Canadian Thanksgiving to distinguish it from the American holiday of the same name, is an annual Canadian holiday, occurring on the second Monday in October, which celebrates the harvest and other blessings of the past year. This year, it fell on October 14.
It is a time for family, feasting, and religious practice. Americans share many common interests with Canada, not just hockey, and wish continued Blessings on Canada and the Canadian people on this joyous day.
